Twilight Fanfic Chap.1

hey y'all! guess where i was yesterday? THE BREAKING DAWN MIDNIGHT RELEASE PARTY, THAT'S WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i stayed up till 1:00 in the morning with my friends, Nikki and Bryanna. we went to the Borders at the Atlas Mall and stood in line for almost and hour waiting to get our books! so, to celebrate the release of breaking dawn, i am writing a twilight/new moon/eclipse/breaking dawn fanfic! yay fanfic! the first chapter is a little long, but i didn't like the way the chapter looked split into 2 parts. enjoy!!!!!

  It was Saturday night and my friends, Nikki and Bryanna, and I, were 3 way calling. We had our phones glued to our ears and our copies of Breaking Dawn glued to our laps. We had been babbling about Twilight non-stop for the past 2 hours. We were currently deep in a game of Twilight Would You Rather?

Okay, would you rather…Edward, or Jacob?” I asked, though I was pretty sure of their responses. It was always good to double check, though.

“Edward,” Bryanna and I said unison. Then Nikki surprised me.

“Actually, I prefer Jacob,” she confessed.

“Traitor!” I teased her. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Jacob, I just like Edward more.

“Okay, my turn!” Bryanna said. “Ummmm…Rosalie or Alice?” I was the only one who voted Alice. The jerks.

“Now I go! Uhhh…Emmett or Jasper?” Nikki asked. Nikki voter for Emmett, Bryanna voted for Jasper. I said pass, since I wasn’t sure which one I like better.

Then we switched topics for a bit. “Do you guys wanna come over to my house and go swimming tomorrow?” Nikki asked.

“Yeah, cuz the weather’s been soooo great!” Bryanna muttered. I could just picture her rolling her eyes.

“Way to stay upbeat and positive!” I laughed. “Actually, it has been pretty rainy. It kinda reminds me of Forks,” I observed, chuckling. Strange how the conversation turned, yet again, to Twilight.

“Hey, did you guys hear about Twilight Night?” Bryanna asked.

“Yeah I’ve heard of it. It’s some big thing they’re doing in Forks, right?” I asked.

“Uh-huh. It’s a huge party for the entire saga. All of the hugest Twilight fans will be there,” Nikki said sadly.

“Correction: All of the hugest fans who have tickets are gonna be there. They only accepted 1,500 people who lived outside of Forks,” Bryanna explained. I sighed.

“When is it?”

“I’m pretty sure it starts Wednesday night and ends next Wednesday night,” Nikki told me.

“CJ! It’s 11:00pm! Get off the phone RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!” Ladies and Gents, meet my mom.

“K, guys, see you tomorrow,” I whispered. They said goodbye and we hung up. Only then, in the quiet of my bedroom, did I realize how exhausted I was.

That night, I dreamed I was in a forest. I couldn’t see where I was going. I tripped over a rock and fell into a clearing. As my eyes adjusted to the dark, I spotted the silhouettes of two creatures. The aura surrounding them was chilling. Their eyes were red as blood yet dark as night. They were undoubtedly creatures of the night. And they were thirsty.

Suddenly a beast the size of a Clydesdale jumped out of the trees. He growled menacingly, bearing huge, sharp canines. He had thick, chocolate-brown fur with flecks of black. His paws were the size of catcher’s mitts. He swung one of the said paws at the creatures, sending them sprawling to the ground. Before they could react, the beast used claws sharp as daggers to tear them to shreds. It was hard to watch, but harder to look away.

When he was done, the beast turned and sprinted back through the clearing to the woods. For a moment, I thought he had left me there. Then, out of the trees, appeared a boy about my age. Out of his pocket he pulled a pack of matches. He lit one, then dropped it onto the pile of—ya know. Soon there was nothing but a pile of ashes. The boy stood up, brushed his hands on his pant legs, and said “Hey, I’m Onyx. You okay?” I nodded my head mutely.

“CJ,” I croaked. Real smooth. The boy, Onyx, darted back into the trees. I couldn’t see him, but I knew he had morphed back into a wolf. He crouched down and looked at me expectantly. I scrambled onto the wolf’s back. He took off through the forest. I clung to his fur so I wouldn’t fall. The wind whipped through my hair as he sprinted past trees and bushes and boulders. I had never felt so alive.

That was when I woke up. 

so... that was chapter one. yup. woo-whoo. yeah. i'm gonna... go eat ice cream. ciao!
